Model Horse Customizing by Sue R. Sudekum

Creating Champions Since 1979
Prices Effective 12/1/15

Customizing Services Include:

  • Preparation of the model (sanding, priming, veins/chestnuts)

  • Painting of the model per specified instructions in durable acrylic paints, using a combination of techniques from dry brushing to airbrushing, depending on the color and situation.Sometimes pastels are used for more detailed shading and highlighting.

  • Finished models protected with either a durable matte or glossy finish

  • Work is done from your photos. I'd prefer clear photos of both sides of the horse, plus front and back views, and additional photos or drawings of any unique markings or details such as belly spots or muzzle patterns.

  • I can select a suitable Breyer or Stone(tm) model horse that closest fits your real horse's body type and breed, with you paying the cost of the body. Or you can provide the body if you already have one in your posession. You would be responsible for paying the shipping of the body to me for customizing.

Terms:

  • At least 50% deposit required before any work is done. Payment in full is expected within 2 weeks of completion of the model. Models will not be shipped until full payment is received and any/all payments have cleared.

  • Payment accepted by means of personal check, money order, cashier check, cash, or PayPal online payments.

  • Customer is responsible for postage to and from FWL. Additional insurance or tracking is also the responsibility of the customer. I ship with the USPS. International clients more than welcome.

  • All work is guaranteed. Digital photographs of the model may be supplied before delivery for approval. The customer has 2 weeks from receipt of the model to make any complaint or return, and must pay postage to and from FWL for any re-dos and changes.

  • Guarantee is NULL and VOID once the model has been shown either in a photo or live show.
