How to get a head
I filled the body cavity with paper towels, sponge rubber, Bondo, and then finally some epoxy putty, leaving a gap for the wire "neck bone" to be inserted. The head has been resculpted with nicer jaws, chin bulb, & lip. Ears have been reattached in a more relaxed position.
